If you’ve decided that your YouTube channel isn’t gaining the traction you were hoping for, don’t worry. Whether you want to take a break or delete your channel altogether, YouTube makes it fairly simple to do both…as long as you’re on a computer.
Permanently deleting your YouTube channel is final and you will not be able to retrieve any of its contents. Additionally, any subscriptions to YouTube TV or YouTube Premium associated with the channel will be immediately canceled.

How to delete a YouTube channel on PC?
Sign-in YouTube → Click YouTube Studio → Settings → Channel → Advanced Settings → Remove YouTube Account → Confirm Password → I want to Permanently delete my content → Delete My content.
It’s easy to delete your YouTube channel, but before you do, you should know that:
Deleting a YouTube channel will also delete all of the videos on that channel.
If you have a Brand Account, deleting your YouTube channel will not delete the Brand Account.

You can’t delete a channel on someone else’s behalf.
If you’re sure you want to delete your channel, follow these steps:
Step 1:Â Â Sign in to YouTubeÂ
Step 2: Open YouTube Studio.
Step 3: Then In the left menu, select Settings.
Step 4: Click the “Channel” option.
Step 5:Â Then select “Advanced settings”.
Step 6:Â Scroll down and click “Remove YouTube Account“
After that, you will be asked for your Google account password for confirmation
Step 7:Â Now click “I want to permanently delete my content
Step 8:Â Finally, Click the 2 uncheck box to confirm your understanding then click “Delete my content“.
Note: After you delete your channel, you can’t sign in with that account again or use any features associated with it. However, if you change your mind within two weeks of deleting your channel, you can contact YouTube support to restore your channel. After two weeks, your channel and all its content will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
How to delete a YouTube channel on Android?
To delete your YouTube channel via the mobile app, follow these instructions:
Step 1: Select your Profile picture icon in the top-right corner of your screen.
Step 2: Then, select Manage your Google account.
NOTE: On the next screen, you may need to select Manage your Google account again if you have multiple Google accounts signed in on your device.
Step 3: Pick Data and privacy.
Step 4:Â In the “Download or delete your data” section, scroll down until you see the “Delete a Google service” option.
Step 5:Â When you’re asked to log in, do so. Then, decide if you want to download your data by selecting Download your data. If you’re okay with deleting everything, including your YouTube channel history, tap on the trash can icon next to YouTube.

How to delete a YouTube channel on iOS?
Here’s how you can quickly and easily delete your YouTube channel from the iOS app:
Step 1:Â To access your Google account settings, start from the home screen. In the top-right corner of the screen, tap on your Profile icon. From there, select “Manage your Google account.”
Step 2:Â Go to Data and personalization from the top tab, then scroll down and click Delete a service or your account.
Step 3:Â After you’ve decided which services or your entire Google account to delete, select Delete a Google service. You will then be asked to enter your password for confirmation purposes.

Hide your YouTube Channel
If you want to hide your channel or content temporarily, follow the same steps and select “I want to hide my channel” at step five.
Sign-in YouTube → Click YouTube Studio → Settings → Channel → Advanced Settings → Remove YouTube Account → Confirm Password → I want to hide my channel → Hide My Channel.
